          目的 观察MEBT/MEBO (moistexposedburntherapy/moistexposedburnointment, 原位再生医疗技 术) 治疗老年WagnerⅢ级糖尿病足的临床疗效?

【Abstract】Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Moist Exposed Burn Therapy/Moist Exposed Burn Ointment (MEBT/MEBO) in the treatment of Wagner grade III diabetic foot (DF) in the elderly people. Methods: A total of 52 elderly patients with Wagner grade III diabetic foot admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine and The Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities between June 2014 and February 2016 were randomly divided into MEBO group (27 patients) and rb-bFGF group (25 patients). Patients in MEBO group were treated with the external application of MEBO while patients in rb-bFGF group were treated with the external application of rb-bFGF gel. The clinical efficacy and the score differences of concomitant symptoms before and after the treatment between the two groups were compared on day 60 of the treatment. Results: On day 60 of the treatment, the wound size was obviously decreased and the symptoms such as pain and numbness were remarkably relieved in MEBO group, which was superior to that in the rb-bFGF group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: MEBT/MEBO deserves to be promoted in clinical treatment of Wagner grade III diabetic foot in the elderly population since it is effective in promoting the wound healing and relieving symptoms such as pain and numbness and improving patients’ quality of life.
