Objective: To analyze the efficacy of combination therapy of levocarnitine and renal replacement therapy for acute renal failure caused by burns. Method: Sixty patients with burn induced acute kidney failure admitted from January 2021 to July 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were randomly divided into a study group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received renal replacement therapy, while the study group received a combination of levocarnitine and renal replacement therapy. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. After 5 days of treatment, the MDA levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, GSH-Px、SOD、LVEF、 The levels of albumin, ferritin, RBC, Hct, and Hb were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of L-carnitine and renal replacement therapy can reduce oxidative stress response, promote protein synthesis, reduce protein dissolution, improve myocardial energy reserve, and significantly improve blood oxygen status in patients with burn induced acute kidney failure. |
